17 Co. is a baseball performance brand founded by current professional baseball players John Nester and Casey Harman. John and Casey have been a staple in player development in upstate South Carolina and western North Carolina for the last 10 years. They have helped hundreds of college and professional athletes over the years as well as athletes as young as eight years old. John stepped away from his position as the Minor League Catching Instructor for the San Diego Padres to get back behind the plate after two years of coaching and Casey also began pitching professionally again for the 2018 season and have had the best seasons of their careers using the same training methodology they've developed continue to use to train their athletes with 17 co.

John Nester - Head of Player Development
John has been playing or coaching at the professional level since 2010 after being drafted out of Clemson University by the Oakland Athletics. He has since spent time playing throughout many different levels of minor league baseball as well as spent two years as the Minor League Catching Instructor for the San Diego Padres (2016,2017).
Tre Smith - Hitting and Fielding Coordinator
Tre spent 2 years in the CCBC Catonsville Cardinals program where he received honors for All-Conference, All-Region, and All-Maryland JUCO. He transferred to Newberry where he finished his degree and again was a key player for the team. During his 4 year college career, Tre hit .350 and drove in 152 RBI.
Paul Ouellette - Assistant Hitting and Fielding Instructor
Paul played at Florida Institute of Technology where he earned All SSC 1st Team honors and is in the Hall of Fame. Paul owns several career records including career Triples & total bases. Following his baseball career he became the assistant coach at Florida Tech in 1992, in which the team made it’s only D2 college world series appearance.
Tyler Wilson - Pitching Coordinator
Tyler is a native of Rome, GA and was a MLB draft selection of the Red Sox after his senior year of high school in 2008. Tyler has 11+ years of professional pitching experience and has pitched in the U.S., Canada, and Panama. Tyler threw to Nester last season where he had a breakout campaign, striking out 59 batters in only 42 innings and posted an ERA of 1.71 while racking up 24 saves as the teams closer.
